It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas with

How busy is this time of year?! I feel like November’s hit us like a ton of bricks and now it’s almost over. The X-Factors nearly finished and December is in touching distance. I’m slowly transitioning into the festive spirit but feel being an adult and having actual responsibilities is holding me back from my ‘Miss Christmas’ role this year… Being an adult is SO overrated.

Christmas has got to be my favourite time of year. Obviously, it was better when Santa existed but as an adult Christmas has a whole new meaning to it, like being able to spend quality time with my loved ones. We all lead exceptionally busy lives and Christmas is about slowing down, being able to grab a cuppa and a mince pie with my aunty plus taking my nieces to see Santa Clause. And I just can’t wait for 2 whole weeks off. One thing I have learnt this year is that time is so precious!

My family and I are very traditional when it comes to Christmas, and we do mainly the same order of events every year. Christmas Eve is actually my favourite date out of the festive calendar, to be honest as it has such a cute, cosy, excited vibe all day and all night.

On Christmas Eve we all go to Church for Christmas Eve carols and mass, and then we all head back to my house for a good old spread. A spread that has lots of cheese, mulled wine, prosecco, pigs in blankets, quality streets, you name it, all of the food you associate with Christmas you can expect it at our spread. When we arrive back at our house, the Elf has usually paid us a visit and left some Christmas Eve PJ’s and a Christmas film to watch. I remember when I was younger, my Mam would leave the window open and a few footsteps to make it look like the Elf really had been, I remember that magical feeling of amazement every time!

I have always been allowed one present from Santa on Christmas Eve too which is always the most exciting part as the night goes on. For this months Studio collaboration, I just had to put together a Christmas Eve goody box after I laid eyes on their Christmas range. I decided to put two boxes together, one for me (obvs!) and one for my other half to showcase a few of the gorgeous bits from the range.

1. Personalised Large Traditional Christmas Eve Box (£29.99)

This is one of the first pieces of the range I laid eyes on when I had a browse on the site and I totally fell in love with the design. I’ve seen a few boxes over the last few Christmas’ but never as nice as this one. Why not bring little extra magic and sparkle to Christmas Eve this year with a Christmas Eve Box! This Christmas Eve box is perfect for girls and boys, it’s printed with a traditional print design and is available in a choice of colours. I went for the red box as I felt it was more fitting. For £29.99 I couldn’t believe the quality, it’s solid wood and finished to a fantastic quality. It’s something that you can keep and reuse every year.

2. Dear Santa Christmas Jumper (£9.99)

As an addition to my box, I grabbed this festive jumper to jazz up my Christmas day outfit. I’m a big fan of a Christmas jumper, in fact, I start wearing them from the 1st December. This piece is all about the fun and the glam. This sleek black jumper has long cuffed sleeves and a round neck, with glittery ‘Dear Santa’ detail for a fun finish.

3. Blitzened Christmas T-Shirt (£3.99)

I couldn’t leave my boyfriend out when it comes to festive style, could I? I love this quirky T that actually has an inside joke meaning to us since he definitely gets blitzed on his annual lads Christmas night out that’s for sure… it couldn’t have been a more perfect pick for him as he loves a drink or two.

4. Bottega 20cl Duo in Gift Box (£14.99)

For a cheer and a smooch under the mistletoe, I decided to include this Bottego gift box within the two boxes. The gift set includes Bottega Rose Gold 20cl and Bottega Gold 20cl packed in a Gold PVC Gift Box. The bottles are a perfect size for the Christmas Eve box too.

5. Cadbury Christmas Box (£8.99)

What Christmas Eve would be complete without chocolate! I dread to think how much chocolate I consume in December to be honest because everywhere you turn there’s an advent calendar or a tin of sweets isn’t there? I thought this Cadbury box was such a good idea to include within the boxes as it’s full of all our sweet tooth favourites!

It’s a relief being all sorted for Christmas Eve, thanks to Studio! I hope I’ve given you some inspo for your Christmas Eve boxes. Do you get an early present from Santa every year?
