Prepare your self for the lovey-dovey posts because here they come! Since January is officially over it’s time to concentrate on Valentine’s day.
I’ve made no secret about the fact me and my other half love food, we probably go out for food or order in at least once a week. *insert monkey covering eyes emoji* Life’s too short after all though right?
We also have a massive sweet tooth, we love any sort of sweet treat, chocolate, cake, you name it and our favourite is most definitely brownies. I was recently introduced to Pink Pepper Kitchen who make the most insane brownies and delivery them straight to your door. You won’t find these guys on Just Eat or anything like that because they’re no ordinary bakers or ‘cake-aways’.
Pink Pepper isn’t your typical business, they’re a family-run kitchen, who’ve been mixing, baking and spreading the love with their food for over 40 years, so you could say they’re established! The ever-so-naughty Pink Pepper Chocolate Brownie has been a show stopper amongst all their friends for years, therefore, the business opening was much anticipated. You can now buy them whenever you want, direct to your doorstep for your permanent chocolate fix.
Whilst I was doing my research into the brand I absolutely loved their website, ethics as a business and the personal feel, these guys feel like real people!
They declare all of their ingredients on the website which is incredibly helpful, especially since they offer vegan and gluten-free brownies too. There are 6 simple ingredients go into making those lovely Double Chocolate brownies; Belgium chocolate, farm butter, happy eggs, organic flour, sugar and Caribbean vanilla. They also use edible glitter to decorate the brownie, for that added bit of sparkle! The brownies are not made with nuts however, there could well be traces in their kitchen.
I was very excited for my brownie package to arrive! Delivery was very quick, I ordered on Monday and it arrived by the Thursday. The packaging is very small and compact, which I was pleased about as you may have seen me ranting about the Amazon package on Twitter!
The tin which you receive the brownie is so lovely and definitely re-usable! It’s the little things, isn’t it?! The brownie itself is wrapped up in pink paper, once ripped unveils the most beautiful brownie I’ve ever laid eyes on.
It’s beautiful because it’s a brownie but come on, look at that glitter?! How gorgeous?! It was almost too pretty to eat, but we managed.
And we managed fine, it was the best brownie I’ve EVER tasted and I’m not just saying that either. It was so moist, gooey and uber tasty, it’s unbelievable! I think I was a little apprehensive about the consistency since it had been delivered, but honestly, it was so fresh! It was like I’d popped into a shop and it had been made there and then. It didn’t take us long to munch our way through the full brownie box, as I write this my mouth is watering thinking about it!
I think the Pink Pepper Kitchen Brownies are extremely delicious and would make a fabulous Valentines Day Present for sure! They come in at £15 which isn’t bad at all considering the aesthetically pleasing and reusable tin they come in PLUS the quality of the product itself. I could not recommend the company enough, they do cute occasion brownies too for birthdays and weddings. You can check them out here.
