Well I have had THE busiest month of my life! It’s been a while since I’ve had the time to just sit down and blog so my apologies.
So what have I been up to? Losta work and losta play! I just came back from my holiday in Zante last week and thought I’d share with you some of my photies and oufits!! I’d like to say I had a chilled out week away but I didn’t… it consisted of eating and partying. My poor liver and gut ha! However I did manage to do some exploring, I visited the famous Shipwreck Island and Blue Caves which was just amazing!
I stayed in a quiet family hotel just off the famous Laganas strip which was like luxury compared to some hotels I’ve stayed in whilst being on a girl’s holiday believe me. The weather was just unbelievably hot for the full week, which I loved since I’m a sun worshiper. So on to the most important stuff…
The strip as people may call it, is full of bars and clubs and isn’t really the type of place to get all you know ‘dolled’ up which was extremely hard for me when I was outfit planning as I’m definitely one of those people who’s either dressy or casual I don’t do the in between haha! Pictures 1 and 2 were my favourite night time outfits. Number 1 was a crop top which was a thrifty buy from eBay, which took maybe about a month to come since it was from China but oh my was it worth the wait and I paid just £3, the back was also cut out which was super pretty. Number 2 was a play suit from Boohoo sale believe it or not, check their sale page out well worth a browse for a bargain and of course those beaut gladiator shoes were from Primark and also in the sale for £10!!! Pictures 3 and 4 were my fav day time beachwear. Number 3 was my outfit for Zante’s well renowned VVIP yacht party… it was literally one of the best days of my life! So anyway the costume and kimono I wore were also savvy eBay buys but you can find similar here, and glasses are also from here. Then number 4 was just a day on the beach, I love love love this cover up from Lasula and bikini was from Primark.
So for the full week I lived on Greek Salads and Gyros. Good Lord, the Greek restaurants were amazing! Since I went to the same resort last year I kind of had an idea of where was good to eat but decided to try some traditional Greek places and boy was I impressed, literally the hummus over there is on another level. If you’re a foodie like me and you appreciate good food then get to Greece!!
I took a boat trip to the Shipwreck island which has the bluest sea I’ve ever laid eyes on, although the sharpest sand I’ve ever stood on. I got a good pedicure lets just say that haha! Under the water is just white pebbles so makes is quite tricky stand up properly in, it felt like quick sand!! It was an amazing experience and it’s really good to explore rather than just sit in the resort and see the same sights every day.
Overall another brilliant trip to Zante, can’t wait to decide next years destination! Where have you been on holiday this year?
