The One With The Red Jumper & Starbucks Cup

Jesus, October is turning out to my busiest blogging month EVER. For the first time in Zest Of Alice History, I’ve had three weeks worth of posts written and scheduled. This might sound a bit sad, but it’s a really amazing feeling to 1. Be so busy 2. Feel as though my blogs taking off a tiny bit and 3.  Be so bloody organised! Blogging is becoming more than just a hobby for me at the minute, every spare second I get, I’m blogging. I even have a list now, a to do blog list. WHAT?! Is this a new me? I thought I’d do a mini life update today, just to keep you in the loop with what’s been going on in my life.

Life’s been hectic. I’ve been within my new job role now for six months now and I can’t believe how much life has changed. All for the good though, I’m seriously so happy. I’ve had so many new opportunities presented in front of me, learnt so many new aspects of Digital Marketing and met new, incredibly talented people. I’ve really learned to push myself and have more faith in myself. I know my stuff, and my new job has built up my confidence in my ability. I’ve been so busy at work that my days feel like they’re flying, which is obviously good and you know what they say, when you love what you do, you never have to work a day in your life! I said this when I was handing my notice in at my last job, that nobody every grows in a comfort zone, it’s a beautiful place, but nobody ever grows. Life will continue to be mediocre if you don’t make that change, trust me.

Me and Jorden, my other half, have been on our usual adventures, away here and there. There’s a post on its way to you next week about our mini break at the Lakes that you may have seen me sharing on social media. We’ve been together for what, a year and six months now? Time flies when you’re having fun! We’re currently trying to plan our next big holiday for 2018, we’re thinking America. Couple of days in Vegas, New York, LA and maybe Seattle, if there’s a baseball game on, for him obviously (I’m not that fussed!) so if anyone knows how to plan a trip to America please do let me know. We’d love to go back to Mexico but we want to travel, try new places. We’re heading to Spain in July too for my Aunts birthday, so that should be fun, family holiday. I’m trying not to wish my life away but it’s all just SO exciting.

Anyway, back to the blog, one of my goals in 2017, was to make my space on the internet more fashion-y and I hope everyone reading this can identify how much I’ve really tried to bring more fashion to my content. I don’t think my styles that bad and I’m definitely Queen of Primark, I’m always sharing my bargain buys over on Instagram. Speaking of bargains from Primark, check out this red jumper I picked up a few weeks ago… £5. How striking?! I have to be so careful when choosing winter jumpers as the thicker they are, the worse I look in them. My figure gets buried in material, my boobs stick out and I essentially end up looking fatter than I am. Brilliant. But this babe, is nice an thin. It’s still super snuggly, cosy and warm though, don’t worry. This whole outfit is basically Primark to be honest, bar the Burberry dupe, which is from eBay by the way. I should really get round to doing a post on being such a money saver fashion lover, shouldn’t I?

Plans for the rest of the year for Zest Of Alice include, a trip to Liverpool, more foodie reviews, Christmas Gift Guides… stay tuned.
