Outfit Planning for Paris
If any of you follow me on social media you’ll have seen my recent posts on Friday that my boyfriend has surprised me with a trip to Paris in three weeks time!! I can’t believe it! I’m so excited!! He’s so romantic!!! So anyway we’re going for 4 days, nice long weekend. BUT I only have three weeks to find four outfits PLUS three night time outfits *panic alert*. I’ve had people warning me that I’m going to need comfies and especially comfy shoes since it’s a lot of walking in Paris.
I work full time, Monday to Friday so find it hard to fit time in to go shopping especially because most week nights I go to the gym or see my boyfriend and on a weekend I just like to relax, eat and drink so thank you the genius that created online shopping. I have been searching high and low for outfits, trying to consider a dress code under comfortableness, temperate, occasion and evening so have collective put together a list of possible outfits. I usually have about four main websites I check new in every time I shop online, you know the likes Boohoo, Pink Boutique, Quiz Clothing etc.
I was super impressed by Quiz Clothing’s new AW range this year and I love love love these off the shoulders bardot tunic dresses (1&2). Thinking all three could be jazzed up with a pair of knee high heeled boots too but decided to have a browse and match up some boots with each outfit. I’m diggin’ the wine gum red that seems to be appearing this season everywhere too. I went for day dresses because they are super comfy, airy and can look smart casual.
Another AW range I’m loving this year is Boohoo, they have seriously stepped! Especially their going out dresses which I’ve chosen above, great designs and colours. I have to be super careful when I’m buying going out dresses because of my figure since my breast enlargement. If I wear a baggy dress I can look about 20 stone compared to a slim fit body con styled dress. I have a feeling jumpsuits are going to be the in thing this year as I’ve seen lots popping up while I’ve been browsing. Great news for us short gals since I love using jumpsuits as a weapon to elongate my legs!! Shoe-wise, lets go back to me talking about comfort!! I struggle terribly and I’m sure all you ladies do too, to find a pair of comfortable shoes?! Right?! I’m really picky when it comes to heels, as much as I’ll love a pair of heels I assess whether or not 1. I’m going to be able to walk in them and 2. If my feet will ache in them. I recently came across Pink Paradox, a brand designed for comfortable occasion shoes! So I’m definitely going to be investing in a pair of Parieeee!
Lots of ideas, must get my riggle on and make my ideas come to life! Make sure to check out my outfit post for Paris when I get back, stay tuned!
