Told you all I was having a busy week didn’t I? Yesterday I went to London for the House of Fraser #HOFmas is coming press day, which was fabulous! I had to catch the half 5am train from Newcastle which was a delight as you can imagine, I mean come on I had to get up at 3:30am in order to do my make up, get dressed, get organised etc… BRUTAL. Anyway despite this, I had a really great day, in fact I wish I could it it all again! I love London and really enjoyed meeting other bloggers at the fantastic press day.
The press day was showcasing the Christmas 2016 range for Fashion, Beauty, Home and gifts, it was held at Soho Square which was buzzing from 9am till 6pm believe me! It was held within a little white building which consisted of a downstairs and upstairs. As you walked in the building to the left of you was the ‘Social Area’ where there was tables, activities, appetizers, refreshments and most importantly an ICECREAM MAKER! You could actually design your own ice cream from the base to the toppings, I went for peanut butter and brownie… yummy! You were greeted by the HoF PR staff who were all extremely helpful at directing you around the ranges and even offered to take you around for a tour should you need any commentary.
Downstairs was Homeware, it was literally so cosy and smelt like Christmas with the burning scented BIBA candles around each corner! It actually felt like an open plan kitchen minus the kitchen and just the dinning table and sofa. The range consisted of creams, whites and browns it reminded me of a ski chalet – 100% made me want to curl up in a ball in front of log burning fire place with a fur blanket. Check out some of the images I took…
Upstairs was Women wear, Menswear and Beauty! The women’s wear range to me really felt like a 1920’s Great Gatsby theme to me, lots of sparkles, tassels, jewels and sparkles… very glamours and very Christmas party appropriate. I loved the styles, there was a really broad range of lengths for all different kind of tastes for us ladies, I obviously liked the cocktail styles and bling ha! I checked Menswear briefly and found the two categories complimented each other, I saw few suits which were alternative, different patterns and funky materials of which were from a Noose and Money range, a new brand HoF have recently started working with. Both categories to me presented glam to me.
And in the other room was Beauty and gift sets. There was two lovely make up artist from Charlotte Tillbury make up of which I’m obsessed with at the minute who kindly topped up my make up half way through the day, I didn’t want to remove it when I got home loved my eyes – smokey brown really brings out my blue eyes!! There will be a new range of CT make up coming exclusively to House of Fraser at Christmas so I definitely know what’s going to be first on my list to Santa. Benito Brow Bar representatives were also there doing eyelashes for all bloggers, these guys are amazing! Highly recommend!! I was basically pampered!!! Michael Kors, BIBA and Lulu Guinness will also be working closely with House of Fraser bring us exclusive new ranges, so excited for them to be released in store for you all to see and also to buy for Christmas presents!!
Overall like I said I had an amazing day, I loved viewing the new House of Fraser ranges as well as meeting my fellow blogger friends and meeting the team at their end who put this all together for us. Thank you House of Fraser!
