I’m all for budget makeup. I’m certainly not in a finical position where I can be lathering Estee Lauder Double Wear on every day. I tend to keep my ‘splurge make up’ for weekends or special occasions! My everyday makeup is budget friendly and is actually of an amazing quality. Drugstore make up has seriously upped its game!
I’m constantly on the hunt for the best budget foundations, bronzers, and palettes. I read blogs, watch vblogs and read magazines on what’s hot and what’s not in the high street makeup war.
I was recently introduced to Profusion Cosmetics! They’re not in many UK stores as of yet, but you can browse their ranges and buy online. I was fortunate enough to be sent a few goodies to try!
Profusion Cosmetics originated from the USA. Southern California to be precise, almost 20 years ago with a select few makeup products and ever-growing ambitions. Since then their mission has been to provide high-value cosmetics at inclusive prices regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or skill level. They’ve built up their reputation all over the world and now their cracking the UK.
Profusion Cosmetics strives for on-trend colour, accessible style and professional quality palettes designed to cultivate creativity among the next generation of makeup enthusiasts. The brand encourages their users to have fun with colour and to rock their confidence in style. Profusion’s approach to beauty is limitless and they believe in giving everyone the opportunity to create magic with makeup. They’re also passionate about the progression in the beauty industry and is proudly cruelty-free. It’s refreshing to find a brand with such passion for people and innovation within the beauty industry.
I received the EYE & CHEEK | THE ARTISTRY PALETTE and two EYES | PRO MAKEUP CASE. I’m a sucker for visually pleasing packaging and the Profusion branding is absolutely stunning. I love it, I just think it looks glam and luxurious. I thought the brush included was a lovely touch too. I adore all of the shades to be honest from first impressions, but my favourites were in the Artistry Palette. The Mic Drop reminded me of a Charlotte Tilbury shade I’ve used before, it’s gorgeous!
1. EYE & CHEEK | THE ARTISTRY PALETTE (£12.95)
Like I said, this was my favourite palette out of the products I received. This palette is a mix of eyeshadows, blushes and highlighters to enhance your facial features. The shades range from golden bronze to plush pinks. The shadows and the blushes were richly pigmented and silky to blend meaning creating a look was effortless. The set includes 12 Eyeshadows, 4 Blush and 2 Highlight shades in matte, satin & shimmer finishes plus a Pro Series brush. I mainly used this palette to create a natural everyday look. The Pro Series brush included is a great shadow brush enabling you to create a structured and blended effect. I was really impressed by the quality of the product!
2. EYES | PRO MAKEUP CASE (£7.95)
I received two pro make up cases, AMBER and SMOKEY. Honestly, they remind me of an Urban Decay NAKED dupe. The AMBER palette is a mix of HEAT and NAKED3, and the SMOKEY palette is a mixture of the original NAKED and NAKED2. The shades in both are striking! The AMBER palette was my favourite out of the two and is a mixture of nudes and red tones. I created a number of summery looks with it. I loved Outspoken and Armour, just look at those pigments! Each palette is a collection of twelve eyeshadows ranging from light base-colours to deep defining shades. You can wear the shades alone or layer with the dual-ended brush for a wearable and mesmerizing finish.
Overall, I’m now a huge fan of Profusion cosmetics! I’m so impressed with the quality and the price of the products. The shadows were super long lasting and didn’t smudge after a few hours like I sometimes find with budget products and it didn’t tint my eyeliner! I’d recommend these products to everyone! I can’t wait to see what’s on the horizon for this brand in the UK! Have you tried Profusion before?
