Skintruth Beauty Review

I have a skincare routine, go me! FINALLY. I recently revealed to you lot that I admittedly didn’t have a structured skin care routine and relayed on face wipes. So yeah, good news for my poor skin. I normally used Simple Skincare but have been recently added Skintruth into my skincare mix.

I first heard about Skintruth on Instagram, they’re a brand floating around on social media right now. When they got in touch and asked me to give it a go, I couldn’t say no. I was sold by the look of the packaging straight away and up close the branding is beautiful and very feminine. Skintruth is a professional beauty brand, with a range which unifies naturally derived and scientifically advanced ingredients to optimise skincare for an enhanced salon experience and at home salon experience. The creators at Skinturth have created products with outstanding quality and individually each skincare solution has been formulated with the right blend of specialist ingredients and essential oils. All the products are Paraben, Sulphate and Mineral Oil Free! I received three products from the team at Skintruth which were the Nourishing Mask, the Nourishing Moisturiser and the Nourishing Hand Lotion.

Let’s start with the Nourishing Mask, it’s an intense cream mask which restores skin moisture levels and calms dry patches, they claim it leaves skin radiant and smooth. It’s not a mask I would use more than once a week because it really is a cream based mask. It actually feels like your applying moisturiser to your skin rather than a mask and smells like a moisturiser if that makes sense. That’s not a bad thing though, my skin really was glowing afterwards and super soft. It doesn’t go hard or dry even at 15 minutes. After use it really restored my skin colour and made my skin appear brighter and fresher looking. Obviously, my boyfriend HAD to get in on the action and he said he loved it and his skin was quote ‘softer than a babies bum after’ Haha!

After I used the mask, I tried the Nourishing Moisturiser which has been formulated with UV filter and natural skin conditioners to provide essential hydration and replenish dehydrated complexions. I never change my moisturiser as I have really sensitive skin ordinarily, I tend to stick to one which works and not change for years. However, I spread my wings with this and it worked well with my skin, meaning it works for sensitive skin and doesn’t create any reactions. My skin was so hydrated after use, it smells gorgeous, very fragrancey and thick. It’s the perfect base layer before your make up.

I used the Nourishing Hand Lotion every day for a few weeks after I’d had my acrylic nails removed. My skin was tender around my cuticles and my nails were screaming for moisture. This hand cream has really worked miracles for me! I’ve seen such a difference in not on my nails but hands are super soft now. I’d definitely recommend Skintruth products and saw great results from the ranges I tried, I’d love to try the hand masks and cuticle massage cream. I basically brought the salon experience home!

I’m the same as you when it comes to moisturisers, I stick to what I know but these sound fab! I need to take a closer look at them 🙂

I’m always really scared to try new moisturisers, I’m just always worried I’ll come out in a rash or something! You should x

The hand cream sounds like it would be perfect for me as my hand skin is always really bad from working in a studio! Thanks for sharing x
