What a month! Especially on the blog, I’m so overwhelmed by all of the collaborations I’ve got coming up… it’s all very exciting! Good news for my loyal Zest Of Alice followers because there’s gonna’ be some sexy content coming right your way. Anyway, I felt like it’d been ages since I last done a beauty haul and over the past few weeks, I’ve discovered a few must-have products which I just ABSOLUTELY needed to share with you all!
Holler And Glow, Purrfect Skin Smoothing Face Mask
The latest addition to the Primark Beauty family! Not sure if any of you have been in Primark recently but if you have you’ll have spotted these babies. I love a good face mask. The packaging did it for me, totally sold it to me! It comes in at only £3 too. Since I came back from Mexico after I had that amazing facial, I’ve been really making an effort with my skin care. I’ve got a confession, I use face wipes. Yes, I know. They’re terrible for your skin, I’m such a bad beauty blogger but you have to admit it’s very time consuming doing it all properly… admit it! I have been doing it properly and making time since I got back though, I promise! The face mask itself is really striking, it has a really funky design, exactly that design on the packaging! I left it on for around 15 minutes and let it work its magic. It’s really watery and cooling which explains why it left my skin looking so fresh and rehydrated. After only 15 minutes it managed to get rid of my bags under my eyes and rosy my cheeks a little. Result.
Dior Addict Lip Maximizer
This was definitely a splurge purchase! I decided to treat myself coming home from Mexico since all of the prices in Cancun airport were in dollars so I saved a hell of a lot on this lipgloss, turned out to be a total bargain since in the UK it’s £25. Still not a bad price for the quality though! I decided to splash the cash on this one since I’d heard rave reviews from a friend I met on holiday who works for Dior, she was wearing it one day and I couldn’t help but notice how fantastic her lips looked. As you may have read in last weeks post I’ve had lip fillers but am still on the quest for a big pout and this is the perfect product for everyday use. This doesn’t make your lips swell, hurt or feel odd in any way like you usually get with lip enhancing glosses. It does tingle for about five seconds! It’s clear gloss, super thick and long-lasting. It looks great over some red lippy, all about that sheen.
Lee Stafford Sea Salt Mud Mask
This isn’t another face mask, don’t worry! This product is for beachy, big hair. My hair has been insanely dry from my holiday, however, it’s on the mend thanks to this mud mask. It’s a really luscious, thick mask that applies really gritty if you get what I mean?! It does feel a little like sand between a cream, not gonna lie! But it’s not, it’s actually just the nutritious sea ingredients and minerals from the Dead Sea, this indulgent mud mask strengthens and rejuvenates hair, without weighing it down. I only left it on for around 10-15 minutes and after I’d dried/straightened it, it felt so much better. It moulded really well and into a curly style. You can grab this at Boots for £10.99!
KISS Lash Couture Faux Mink Collection
Everyone knows KISS Lashes are THE best lashes ever and if you don’t WHERE have you been? I swear by these lashes when I don’t have eyelash extensions. They are so easy to apply and sculpt your eyeline so well. Their glue is a worth a purchase too, it’s really long lasting. Kiss have well and truly converted me from Eyelure lashes. Sorry, not sorry! I usually get mine from Superdrug for about £7.
PS… Matte Long Lasting Lipstick & Liner
I can’t not get a lippy when I nip into Primark (when I say nip, I mean spend 3 hours in there!). They are so CHEAP! They’re literally £1.50 for god sake, and I love them. I’m a bit careless with lipsticks, they always get lost in a handbag somewhere and it doesn’t break my heart as much when they’re only £1.50. I love this shade, it’s so Autumnal, that in between nude, brown and reddish. You’ve probably heard me preaching about how much I hate Matte lipstick, however, this is really thick and moisturising. Love it and I’d definitely recommend.
