Cinere Skincare Science Of Nature Review

My skin has been horrendous these past few months. I think it’s probably down to a change in weather, hormonal change and maybe I’ve just got way greasier skin as an adult than as a teenager.

Spots do exist after your teenage years and it is common. According to The International Dermal Insitute, Clinical studies indicate that between 40 and 55 per cent of the adult population age 20-40 are diagnosed with low grade, persistent acne and oily skin.

It’s a first time for me to suffer from skincare problems as I’ve fortunately never really had spots, it’s bizarre though because as soon as I start to make an effort with looking after it, I suddenly get spots. And lots of them.

In a rut and unsure what to do with my blemishes, Cinere slid in my DMs and asked me whether I’d like to try their latest range. I’d never actually heard of Cinere before now, so I was intrigued to finding out what the brand was about and whether they could sort my troubles out.

Cinere products are developed using premium ingredients to make each product unique and compatible with the most sensitive skin and hair without disturbing the balance of nature. They use science to bring out its client’s beauty out by using the timeless elements of nature and state of the art research. The formulations contain significant concentrations of herbal extracts, essential oils and other natural therapeutic elements, not just a touch of the latest trendy ingredients. They claim their products do work and they guarantee this, I was looking forward to being the judge of this.

Let’s start with first impressions. I LOVE the simple packaging, it’s bright, white and has such a luxurious look to it. Less is definitely more in this case. I had a quick sniff of each product too when they arrived and they smelt amazing, it was like a burst of lavender in each of them.

I tried the 100% Natural Cleansing Milk for Combination Skin (£16) first which is a refreshing alternative to other cleansing creams. It provides an effective yet gentle cleansing action of which is a more silky texture. Cinere 100% Natural Cleansing Milk is an oil-in-water emulsion that works on the premise that oil attracts oil and is soap-free. On using this cleanser, it effectively lifted all traces of dirt and makeup straight away and left my skin feeling glowing. Infused with nourishing botanicals Lavender and Chamomile, it conditions, nourishes, hydrates and protects whilst providing a softening and soothing effect on the skin.

I then tried the Herbal Energising Cleansing Toner (£18) which has the job of removing any trace of dirt, excess oil, impurities and heavy makeup from the skin. Water activates the Toner transforming it into a silky textured milk that cleanses deep into the skin for a clear and beautiful complexion. Microparticles unblock pores, smooth out skin irregularities and refines skin texture. The toner is a balancing deep cleansing formula with antibacterial qualities that effectively reduces excess oil production, particularly in the T-zone and helps prevent the formation of blemishes and blackheads without drying or irritating the skin. It really did leave my skin looking feeling clean, supple and shine free.

Lastly, I tried the Hydra Plus Timeless Moisturising Cream for Combination Skin (£32) which is said to improve the skin’s moisture retention by repairing the skin’s moisture barrier. I’m very picky when it comes to moisturisers on my face, I’ve tried many over the years and always sticking with Simple as it’s just so light yet nourishing. I gave the Hydra Plus a go and was very surprised at how amazing it was! This refreshing and fast absorbing texture of Cinere Hydra Plus Timeless Moisturising Cream provides both instant and long lasting results by repairing the skin’s moisture barrier whilst bestowing a smooth, toned and healthy appearance. Cinere Hydra Plus Timeless Moisturising Cream contains a bioactive moisturising complex based on the Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF) to improve the skin’s moisture retention properties. It contains Argan Oil, Rice Bran Oil and Yeast extract, all of which are extremely beneficial for rehydrating dry skin and maintain a beautiful, radiant and youthful complexion. I adore this product.

I can’t thank Cinere enough for sorting my skincare troubles out! My spots as a whole have been way less red and angry, even almost disappearing since starting to use the products daily for the last three weeks. I’d definately recommend this products to anyone as I think they’re great quality and great value for money.
