Christmas Party Beauty Essentials

It’s officially Christmas party season ladies! I’ve already written a post on finding what to wear, so now it’s all about the beauty essentials that you NEED to prepare you for your Christmas do. Christmas parties are the highlight of any socialites calendar so you need to be equipped. You need to ready to sparkle since it’s the one night of the year your work colleagues get to see you all glammed up and not with a  messy bun on your head. Anyway, that’s what it is for me ha! I’ve put together all of my must-have products to share with you all, hope you find this useful.

  1. Fake Tan. (obvs!)

It’s winter, so obviously I’m resembling a ghost. My healthy glow from Mexico has disappeared and I’m back to my fair skinned self. I’ve recently made the decision to not use sunbeds anymore since they are SO bad for your skin. I also have lots of moles all over my body and have recently been referred to a dermatologist to keep a check on my mole growth. It’s quite scary really so I’ll be sticking to the fake bake from now on. My favourite fake tan ever is St Moriz. It’s affordable for any budget (£3.00 from Wilko!!!), it’s great quality, it looks natural and it’s long lasting. The amazing team at St Moriz have extended their range with an Oil-Free moisturiser which makes your tan last EVEN longer plus an Velvet Finishing Tan Gel. I’ve been loving these two little wonders this month and definitely recommend.

  1. Elegant Touch Christmas Nails

I’m a huge fan of Elegant Touch stick on nails! You rarely ever catch me without nails on but at the minute I’ve been so skint and haven’t be able to afford a full on acrylic nail manicure plus I thought it was time to give my nails a rest. Elegant Touch stick on nails are reasonably piced, they range from £4 to £10 in Boots. They look fab on and stay on for days, not just a few hours like I’ve found with other stick on nails. I’m in love with these Christmas theme’d ones, my favourite is definitely the Santa  style ones.

  1. Sleek Make Up

Sleek Make Up has been one of my favourite cosmetic brands this year! I’m a huge advocate of their products, budget price yet high end quality. I was lucky enough to be set a few goodies from their latest range by their lovely PR team last month. I was sent the i-Lust-SILVER eyeshadow palette (£7.99), the Strobe Dome-Pink highlighter (£7.00) and the Cinammon Spice Matte Me lipgloss. (£4.99) All three products are compact enough to fit in your clutch bag so you can top up your make up while your dancing away to Christmas anthems. I absolutely loved the eyeshadow palette, the silver palette has a gorgeous range of dark smokey colours which match any outfit. The Eyeshadow is really high pigmented too so it’s really prominent on the lid. Sleek Make Up will help you look as fleeky as possible for celebrations.

  1. ESQIDO Lashes

ESQIDO is a brand I’ve only just discovered, they do amazing mink eyeashes! They’re actually an American brand but retail in the UK, much to the delight of us beauty bloggers. No makeup look is complete withour fluttery lashes and these certainly completed my look. These eyelashes are so fluffy, thick and easily applicable. They’re a bit of a higher purchase when it comes to lashes coming in at £24. I also received some of their eyelash glue which works wonders and is only £7, it’s so long lasting I didn’t think they were going to come off at one point. So you’ll have no eyelash disasters with these babies! I can honestly say they’re worth the splurge!

Do you have any Christmas party beauty must-haves?

The Christmas nails look so cute! I love false lashes but find them such a faff so I’m going to treat myself to some semi permanent ones 🙂

I adore those Christmas nails, especially the red ones. I’ve never had my nails done, or worn fake ones at that! But I’ve really fancied getting some nice ones this year. I might just treat myself!
    Much love, Caitylis x x

Elegant Touch nails are THE BEST!!! I love them!!! I’ve always found that they last so much longer than ANY other brand of false nails I’ve tried yet. Also they’re genuinely so beautifully made and high quality.
Such gorgeous ideas here! Got a bit overly excited about the nails, I won’t lie :’)

I’d like to think of myself as an English Rose due to my very white complexion. But I hear what you’re saying. These are beautiful picks.
